About 30 minutes ago, a massive landslide hit a remote village in northern India, killing at least four people and leaving many others missing. The tragedy occurred when heavy rains that lasted for several days caused the landslide to bury the entire area in just minutes. The event immediately attracted the attention of the global media, not only because of the severity of the disaster but also because a famous name was unexpectedly dragged into the rumor: Jackie Chan.
In the first minutes after the news spread, social media exploded with a series of posts, videos and comments claiming that legendary actor Jackie Chan was one of the victims. Unofficial news sites even quoted a fake statement from his wife, actress Joan Lin, as if confirming that he had died while filming a film project in the area where the landslide occurred.
However, this rumor was completely false.
According to verification from reputable press agencies and Jackie Chan’s official representative, he is still completely healthy and safe.
